Samaritan Revival is now booking for 2009. After finishing a 60 city tour in the U.S. and a two country tour in Central America, the group will be touring once again starting in March of 2009. This tour will reach close to 100 cities throughout the United States singing music from their new CD "Who am I - Quien Soy Yo".
In February of 2009, they will be in the recording studio once again at Daywind Studios recording their third album. In an interview, Philip Tyson the manager of Samaritan Revival stated that "He was so overwhelmed by the response that this group has received from so many people in the U.S. He never imagined that a spanish group would be so accepted by english speaking churches". He went on to say that "This third album was going to be one of their most special projects because the songs were expecially chosen for christians who needed a message of hope and strength". Many churches use the Samaritan revival group to hold bi-lengual services. They sing in spanish but the lyrics are presented on a screen in english as they sing. This is definitely a new experience never seen before.
In October of 2008, Samaritan Revival took a huge step forward by signing a distribution deal with NEW DAY CHRISTIAN DISTRIBUTION. You will soon see their albums in stores all around America. New Day distributes music from groups like The Crabb Family, The Inspirations, The Gaither Vocal Band, Gold City and many others.
With over 45 million Spanish speaking people living in America, the market is wide open and as the group says "we have a bunch of people to minister too"
